If you need help installing this, please read this post first: How To Install iATKOS ML3E on your Mac * Please note: If you wish to use an APFS disk for installation, then we recommend that you use the Bootable USB Stick method. The Bootable USB Stick method will allow you to use the Full Disk Encryption feature that is not supported by Legacy boot mode. Installation Instructions for iATKOS ML3U are here. * NOTE: If your Mac cannot boot from a CD/DVD/BD, then please download our standalone installer here . Full list of Macs that SUPPORT UEFI Boot Mode can be found here .Download the iATKOS ML3U (Mountain Lion 10.8.3 UEFI PC) zip file, and unzip (using your favorite unzipping tool). Then, copy the iATKOS ML3U (Mountain Lion 10.8.3 UEFI PC) image to your USB Flash Drive (or external drive), and use Disk Utility to erase it using Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format so the installer will be able to write to it properly. (If your Mac doesn't have USB 3.0 or Thunderbolt, then you can use a USB 2.0 Flash Drive, but we strongly recommend that you NOT use a 2.0 Flash Drive in order to take advantage of the Bootable USB Stick feature.) Important: Please make sure that you erase the image using the Extended (Journaled) format and not using the GUID Partition Map (GPT) format. If you use the GPT format, then you will need to use the Bootable USB Stick method. If you don't like using Disk Utility to erase your drives, then there are other tools that will allow you to erase an iATKOS image file so it can be written to your drive. Two popular free apps that can do this are Carbon Copy Cloner and SuperDuper . Just be sure that whatever app you choose to use that it can erase Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format. When the disk is erased properly, launch the Mac OS X Installer, and walk through the installation steps. cfa1e77820
